Making connections is When you read or watch something that's related to you. For example something you heard, watched,read or done. If you have a connection with the text it can help you understand more.

River Safety At Camp

RIVER SAFETY

-IF IN DOUBT STAY OUT!

Which means if someone makes you jump and you don’t feel comfortable jumping into the lake STAY OUT.

-PLAN YOUR TRIP!

Always tell someone where you're going and if you change your plan tell them so if you get hurt they know where you are.

what I might take:

FIRST AID KIT

HAT

SUNSCREEN

TOGS

LIFE JACKET

KAYAKS

FOOD

-BE SUPERVISED

Which means take some that can SUPERVISE you.

-DON”T PUSH YOUR LIMITS

Which means do not do something that you can’t do.

-CHECK THE WEATHER

Which means look at the weather because I could be raining and the river could be high.

AND ALL WAYS HAVE FUN!

Before camp thoughts

Before Camp Thoughts

I am excited and nervous about camp because I have never been on camp before.

I’m a little scared of river safety because I’m not a good swimmer and don’t like water that much.

I want to go on the climbing wall and low ropes because I am a good climber.

I’m  nervous about whose tent I’m going to be in because I want to be in my friends tent because I know them.

I hope there will be very fun activites to do at camp otherwise it will be boring.

My favorite time of the day

My favourite time of the day, is when I get home from school because then I can play on Minecraft I play  Minecraft because you can build huge buildings and towns. I also go on Youtube because you can see what other people are doing and watch sports.

Online vs Offline

Online vs Offline,  When I am offline. I love playing in the water and going on the boat. When I am in the bush I am fascinated of the nature. I also love going mountain biking with my dad. When I am on a field I really like playing sports. 


When I am online, I am attracted to Minecraft. I also email friends and family. I love going on Youtube to see what other people are doing.
